Do you work with someone who always says, "NO!" ? Don't get mad. Instead view this guy as your smoke alarm. Put ideas in front of this guy & he will quickly give you a laundry list of everything that can go bad. Review the list and make decisions on how best to move forward. If you can deal or remedy the warnings, give thanks and put another idea in front of this guy.

1. Who is the leader 2. Does anyone act like they should be the leader 3. Does anyone go to lunch together 4. Are conversations about work, life, or both 5. Do co-workers help each other 6. Who is engaged 7. Is the team excited about project work 8. Do you like the work 9. Can you get work items to complete in this environment?
